Formosa Fountains was formed by Drew Imler as Fountain Tech, Co. in 1979. Being an early adopter of CAD technology and documentation modularization, Fountain Tech grew into a professional design firm providing engineering assistance for fountains to architects, landscape architects, and developers.

Fountain Tech changed names to Formosa Fountains in 2003. As an independent consultancy firm, Formosa’s has gained experience specializing in the technical design of all types of water features. Beyond fountains, Formosa now engineers pools, spas, ponds, lakes, and integrated water features as well.
